
Prime Minister of the Palestinian Government, Rami Hamdallah has stated that Israel has far prevented his visiting the Gaza strip during the recent aggression and that he will make a visit on his return from the United States.
Speaking on Thursday afternoon in a meeting organised by Foundation House Press in Gaza in the presence of a number of journalists, Hamdallah said an agreement had been signed between Hamas and Fatah without reaching operational solutions to the questions of paying salaries and the government's work in Gaza.
Rather, it is a management committee established that will meet on the distribution of employees' salaries.
He announced furthermore that Saudi Arabia has decided to donate half a billion dollars for the reconstruction of the Gaza strip and to aid all those displaced by the bombardment. He emphasised equally the need to accelerate the entry of building materials into Gaza, referencing also the agreement signed under UN auspices to aid the recovery of the enclave.
