Higher Learning and National Education Minister, Marwan Hamadeh
Lebanon - Arab Today

Higher Learning and National Education Minister, Marwan Hamadeh, confirmed on Tuesday that the endorsement of oil decrees on tomorrow's cabinet agenda would not be a matter of dispute.

"This mandate will not be that of oil distribution -- this is neither the Lebanese President nor the Prime Minister's style of handling things," the Minister added.

"Oil is for all the Lebanese people, and the Council of Ministers will make sure that this remains the case," Hamadeh added.

As for the Lebanese President's anticipated visit to KSA, the Minister made clear that it would also include Qatar and maybe Egypt; he also expressed hope that this move would stir Lebanese diplomatic movement with these countries.
