
Gharbia Governor Mohamed Naim commended Al-Azhar's role in confronting the misleading Fatwas and propagating the upright teachings of Islam.
He underlined that Al-Azhar is a beacon of moderate Islamic teachings and its clerics are only persons who have the right religious science and only have the right to spread the right Fatwas corresponding to Holy Quran and Sunnah.
The governor made those remarks during his inauguration of a symposium organized by the Association of Journalists and reporters in the province entitled (Al-Azhar's role in confronting misleading Fatwas).
In his speech, the governor noted that the Egyptian community are in dire need of these symposiums to clarify the right concepts of Islam, modify bad behaviors and confront the destructive thoughts.
