GCC Secretary-General and UK Secretary of State for Middle East
RIYADH - Arab Today
Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, has met with Alistair Burt, Minister of State for International Development and Minister of State for the Middle East at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, who is currently visiting the Kingdom.
During the meeting, they discussed the friendly relations and cooperation between the GCC and the United Kingdom and means of boosting them, as well as following up the outcomes of the Gulf-British summit held in Bahrain in December 2016.
The meeting also touched on the latest developments in the political and security situation in the region and issues of common concern.
