
The Ministry of Defense announced Thursday the arrival of a number of jetfighters of air forces of the Gulf Cooperation Council member states at Ahmad Al-Jaber airbase to partake in the 10th Peninsula Falcon Drill, to start today.
In a press statement, the Ministry said that the drill, which will last till October 23, is organized on regular basis to enhance the efficiency and preparedness of GCC air forces.
The drill comes within the framework of the cooperation and coordination among GCC states militaries. Moreover, it aims to exchange expertise and unite vision as well as increase joint action among the GCC countries, the statement added.
