GCC highlights support for Yemeni president

Gulf Cooperation Council Secretary-General Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani highlighted the GCC countries' support for efforts of Yemeni President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi to maintain unity, security and stability of Yemen.
According to a GCC statement on Sunday, Zayani met with Yemeni Foreign Minister Jamal Abdullah Al-Salal in New York, and was briefed on the latest developments in Yemen.
He stressed promoting the Yemeni government to carry on with the political process in accordance with the Gulf initiative, implementation of the executive national dialogue outcome and UN Security Council resolutions on Yemen.
Zayani also called on all parties in Yemen to give priority to the national interest and complete the transitional political process and implement the outcomes of the national dialogue conference.
