Former Egyptian Foreign Minister Mohamed el Orabi asserted the importance of Arab-Gulf cooperation to confront the extremist terrorist groups, especially the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
Orabi said Thursday that the situation in Iraq has reflections on Kuwait and the whole region, pointing out that a new Arabic strategy is needed to eliminate these Takfiri groups which are located in some Arab countries.
In an interview with "Al-watan" Kuwaiti newspaper, Orabi said that the extremist groups can threaten the security and stability of the Arab countries, pointing out that June 30 revolution in Egypt foiled western plots aiming at dividing the Arab world.
He called on the wise men of the Arab nations to start taking actions to protect the Arab world.
