Foreign ministry undersecretary receives Russian ambassador

Undersecretary of Regional & GCC Affairs Hamad Ahmed Alamer today met Russian Ambassador Victor Smirnov and discussed bilateral relations between the two countries, as well as dangerous developments in Syria and their repercussions on regional security and stability.The Undersecretary stressed in this regard on the position of the Kingdom of Bahrain for working to maintain the unity of Syria and its stability and protecting territorial integrity, he also affirmed the importance of standing by innocent, defenseless Syrians as a humanitarian and religious duty.
