
Foreign Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa described the award granted by the Foundation for Ethnic Understanding (FFEU) to His Majesty the King as a recognition of the landmark royal contributions to fostering dialogue among religions and cultures and promoting positive communication among people.
He said the award is an international acknowledgement of HM the King's visionary leadership which has turned Bahrain into a sublime exemplar of religious tolerance and co-existence. He commended HM the King's statesmanship and ability to build an all-inclusive nation based on patriotism and dedication.
"Bahrain is internationally recognised as a unique oasis and a wonderful model of tolerance and co-existence," the minister affirmed, paying tribute to HM the King for his wise vision and contemporary policies to protect diversity in Bahrain through various national initiatives and ensure a secure and stable present and more prosperous future.
The Foreign Minister urged to take advantage of the award as a new incentive to stand united in confronting challenges and fast-track development by putting aside differences and removing obstacles to more growth and prosperity.
