Sources at Fatah Revolutionary Council discussed in its meeting in the presence of President Mahmoud Abbas a set of important files, including the postponement of Palestine bid at the UN Security Council to end the Israeli occupation upon a demand from US Secretary of State John Kerry.
In a statement released on Monday, Fatah Revolutionary Council said they are likely to defer the UN bid to next year to give Kerry a chance to launch a new initiative and make alternatives if the UN bid failed.
The revolutionary council, which kicked off meetings on Saturday, discussed means of handling the peace process, relations with Israel, reconciliation with Hamas, internal affairs as well as a future plan for the Palestinian Authority.
