Fatah Central Committee condemned on Friday the bombings that targeted the houses of the movement's leaders in Gaza, blaming Hamas for the attacks.
During a press conference in Ramallah, the committee warned that such attacks would stir serious impacts on relations with Hamas and the reconciliation efforts.
The bombings aim at hindering the commemoration of the 10th anniversary of the death of former Palestinian leader and Fatah founder Yasser Arafat which will take place next week, the committee said.
Also, it voiced confidence that the Palestinian people will mark the anniversary of Arafat's death, saying that the celebrations would be held under any circumstances.
Earlier in the day, scores of explosions occurred simultaneously damaging the houses and cars of some dozen of high-ranking figures of Fatah, including the governor of Gaza and a member of parliament.
Later, Hamas condemned the bombings, calling it a criminal act and urging its security forces to find the perpetrators.
