
Fallujah city witnessed a relatively stable security situation today and a stopped of random shelling following the recent visit by Defense Minister by interim Saadoun al-Dulaimi to Anbar province. A security source said to NINA reporter : "The indiscriminate shelling that targeted residential neighborhoods in Fallujah during the past few days stopped today , following a visit by Dulaimi to Anbar province where he made a positive response to the calls of the people of the province , and confirming the government's approval to stop the bombing . The source although pointed out to a sporadic clashes between army troops and gunmen in eastern and southern areas of Fallujah
