Abu Dhabi - Arab Today

An exhibition exploring traditional local games and pastimes organised by the Department of Culture and Tourism in Abu Dhabi has opened at Al Qattara Arts Centre in Al Ain. The Emirati Traditional Games exhibition will remain open to the public until 7th January 2018.

Celebrating the simple games and activities local children created to entertain themselves in days past, the exhibition features artworks that are inspired by this important aspect of Emirati heritage. The exhibition highlights six of the most popular local games: Al Teela, Habil Al Zaibal, Al Dusays, Al Zubout, Al Karabi and Al Miryhana.

The exhibition is open Saturday to Thursday at Al Qattara Arts Centre from 9am-8pm until Sunday, 7th January 2018. The exhibition is closed on Fridays.
