Excellence, innovation discussed at MoFAIC’s fourth quality forum

Striving for excellence and pursuing innovation were the themes of the Fourth Forum for Quality and Excellence.

The forum was held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

The forum focused on innovation as one of the categories of the 2nd edition of the Ministry's Award for Excellence.

At the forum, Dr. Saleh Al Hammouri, from Al Hindawi Excellence Group, delivered a lecture on the importance of excellence, quoting a saying by Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum that, "The future is not something we wait for, but something we make. We look ahead into the future and predict and shape it by being proactive in innovating and employing future technologies to bring about development and growth."

Also, Dr. Sharif Al Sayed delivered a presentation on the role of the Intellectual Property Department at the Ministry of Economy in promoting awareness about copyrights.
