Ex-presidential candidate to support Essebsi in run-off

A former Tunisian presidential candidate said Tuesday that he will support Nidaa Tounes Party leader Beji Caid Essebsi in the run-off.
In statements, Monzer Zenaidi, who ranked ninth in Tunisia's presidential election, called on the Tunisians to vote for Essebsi.
He congratulated the Tunisian people on the success of the presidential polls, which will wrap up the transitional period in the state.
