President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan received on Sunday a telephone call from Lebanese President Michel Sulaiman, who offered Eid-Al-Fitr greetings. He also received a call from Hamas political leader Khaled Meshaal who offered Eid greetings. Their Highnesses Supreme Council Members and Rulers of Emirates received on Sunday morning crowd of well-wishers, who poured onto their Palaces, to extend warm congratulations on Eid. Earlier the Rulers offered Eid prayers with worshippers at mosques. Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum welcomed at Zabeel Palace a group of well-wishers. Sheikh Mohammed accepted best Eid wishes from a number of Sheikhs, speaker and members of the Federal National Council (FNC), dignitaries, ministers, commanders of the Army and Police, heads of government departments and a crowd of citizens and members of Arab, Islamic and foreign communities in the UAE. The well-wishers congratulated Sheikh Mohammed on the glorious occasion, wishing him good health and happiness and the UAE people more progress and stability under the wise leadership. At their palaces, Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi of Sharjah, Sheikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi of Ajman, Sheikh Hamad Bin Mohammed Al Sharqi of Fujairah, Sheikh Saud Bin Rashid Al Mualla of Umm Al Qaiwain, and Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi of Ras Al Khaimah accepted Eid greetings from Sheikhs, notables, senior officials, chairmen of federal and local government departments, and top Army and Police officers, as well as from a number of citizens, and members of resident Arab, Muslim and foreign communities in the country. The well-wishers conveyed to the Rulers best Eid wishes for good health and happiness and wished the UAE more progress, prosperity, peace and stability. The audiences were attended by crown princes, deputies ruler, and a number of Sheikhs and senior officials.
