
The Emirates Red Crescent has continued its humanitarian relief activities in the Gaza Strip and distributed 2800 Iftar meals among Palestinians who have taken refuge in UNRWA schools.
Emad Abu Laban, Director of the Emirates Red Crescent in the Gaza said that the Emirati field hospital has started receiving wounded Palestinians, and the office of the authority has expanded its activities to provide urgent food aid to displaced people, who have taken shelter in UNRWA schools because of recent events in the area.
He said that the authority aimed to prepare 2000 Iftar meals which will be distributed at Al-Zaytoun, Al-Daraj and Abu Hussein schools in the northern sector. Each of the three schools has about 2000 displaced Palestinians.
