
A senior Bahraini official has affirmed that His Highness the Amir (of Kuwait) Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah plays a crucial role in paving way for ensuring success of the GCC Summit due in Doha, Qatar, in December.
Mohammed Bin Ibrahim Al Mutawa, Minister of State for Follow-up Affairs, said the Bahraini-Kuwaiti relations are distinguished due to the close and historic bonds between the two countries' leaderships and peoples.
The ranking government official was speaking during a meeting with the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps in the Kingdom and the State of Kuwait's Ambassador Sheikh Azzam Al-Sabah.
This distinguished relationship constitutes the basis for cementing the ties between the two countries, stated the Minister of State.
For his part, Sheikh Azzam stated that the bilateral ties between the two sisterly countries have been developing in various sectors, due to the special care devoted by the two countries' leaders.
