El-Araby confirms AL's support for Yemen

Secretary General of the Arab League (AL) Dr. Nabil Elaraby confirmed on Monday that the AL stands by Yemen to complete steps of building the new Yemen.
During his meeting with Yemen's permanent representative to the AL ambassador Mohamed Al-Hisami, who briefed him on the political scene developments in Yemen, Elaraby praised the efforts made by President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi to implement the National Dialogue Conference (NDC) outcomes.
The meeting dealt with the difficulties facing Yemen at the economic, security and political levels and the efforts of President Hadi to complete the transition stage, as well as a number of the current Arab and regional issues and developments, including the bloody event in Gaza Strip.
Elaraby called on the political forces in Yemen to work for the benefit of Yemen and to support President Hadi's effort to overcome the transitional stage difficulties, stressing the need for preserving Yemen's unity, security and stability.
He affirmed the AL's support to the Security Council resolution No. 2140 that included taking sanction measures against those who impede the political transition and the implementation of the NDC outcomes in Yemen.
