Egyptian and South Sudan's Presidents, Abdelfatah Al-Sisi and Silva Kiir Mayardit respectively, Saturday underlined importance of bolstering relations and cooperation in different domains, like health, agriculture, education and irrigation.
Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry, at a joint news conference with his South Sudanese counterpart Barnaba Marial Benjamin, said Cairo welcomed Mayardit's visit to Egypt, adding he would visit Juba in near future.
Egypt and South Sudan are keen on developing their water resources, said Shoukry.
He added there were investment opportunities for Egypt in the food industries in South Sudan.
The two countries are in close coordination over the importance of stability in the Horn of Africa.
Benjamin said the two leaders discussed cooperation in health, agriculture, youth and culture.
