Egyptian President Abdelfatah Al-Sisi held talks with visiting Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al-Faisal Sunday on threats posed by armed groups in Syria and Iraq.
The meeting touched upon developments in the Middle East, Arab-Arab relations and means of supporting the Libyan parliament, presidential spokesman Ehab Badawi said in a statement to the press.
Al-Sisi underlined importance of the political and security stability in Libya, he said, and warned against foreign interference in the Libyan affairs.
The Egyptian leader also called for boosting common Arab cooperation in the fight against terrorism in order to restore security and stability in Iraq and Syria.
