
Egyptian President Abdelfatah Al-Sisi discussed with visiting Moroccan Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation Salaheddine Mezouar ways and means of boosting bilateral relations.
Al-Sisi's talks with Mezouar also tackled regional and African developments of common interest, said the Egyptian Presidency Spokesman Ihab Badawi.
During the talks, the Egyptian president stressed the importance of the Egyptian-Moroccan Joint Higher Committee meetings and its role in shoring up trade exchange, economic and investment cooperation, Badawi said, adding that Al-Sisi has also expressed desire to create a partnership between the private sectors of the two countries.
For his part, Mezouar stated Moroccan King Mohammed VI's full support to Egypt to restore stability and achieve welfare.
He added that Moroccan King is keen on activating the role of joint committee to build a new partnership between the two countries
