Egyptian President Abdelfattah Al-Sisi and Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa discussed the latest developments in Gaza Strip in a phone conversation Sunday.
The two leaders tackled the Egyptian efforts to broker a long-term ceasefire deal in Gaza and to stop the bloodshed of helpless Palestinian people, said Egyptian Presidential Spokesman Ehab Badawi.
Badawi also noted the two leaders discussed the situation in Iraq, Syria and the repercussions of the crisis in Libya on the western borders of Egypt.
They also discussed bilateral relations and common interest shared between both countries, he said.
