
The Egyptian labor representation office members in Jordan visited a pharmaceuticals company in Amman's Sahab district over a complaint from Egyptian workers there.
The office members convened with the company official to discuss the complaint.
The action comes in line with directives of Manpower Minister Moahmd Saafan to follow up conditions of Egyptian laborers abroad and settle any problems facing them.
The company officials stressed that Egyptian laborers enjoy several privileges and there is no discrimination between Egyptian and Jordanian workers.
The Egyptian office members underlined that Egyptian workers should get their salaries on time and that they should not be obliged to renew their contracts with the company.
It was agreed during the meeting that the office members will convene with Egyptian workers at the company on Wednesday.
