Cairo - KUNA

The Egyptian government has termed as "completely false" what have been reported by media and social networks of a civil disobedience in the country. It is the contrary, some individuals are trying to force employees in some government departments to leave their work place, government spokesman Alaa Al-Hadidi said in a statement Sunday. "What is really happening is that some individuals are forcing employees in some government departments ... like in the Daqahlia Governorate to leave (their work places) and they will assault them if they fail to do so," he added. He said the government appreciated the fact that employees were aware of these practices. Al-Hadidi urged all employees to stay at their work and to cooperate with the police for the sake of public interest.
