Egyptian ambassador to Walid Jumblatt: Egypt hopes Lebanon will end presidential vacuum

Egyptian Ambassador to Lebanon Mohamed Badr el Din Zayed met on Thursday with Head of Lebanon's Progressive Socialist Party (PSP) Walid Jumblatt to discuss the latest developments in Lebanon.
In a press release issued by the Egyptian Embassy in Beirut, the ambassador said the meeting also tackled the latest developments in the region.
Egypt hopes that Lebanon will surpass the current presidential vacuum to activate constitutional institutions including parliament and cabinet in order to meet Lebanese people’s needs and preserve security and stability, the ambassador said during the meeting.
