
Egypt proposed establishing an anti-terror center during the 5th meeting of defense ministers of Community of the Sahel-Saharan States (CEN-SAD), Egyptian ambassador to Libya Mohamed Abu Bakr revealed.
The center will based in Egypt, he added.
Ambassador Bakr noted that the meeting come at time of mounting political challenges facing the region.
Restructuring and reforming the CEN-SAD, with a view to activating its role, is being considered and addressed by the participants, Bakr stated.
