Egyptian President Abdelfatah Al-Sisi met visiting Libyan Prime Minister Abdullah Al-Thinni here on Wednesday on the political process in Libya and how to stop violence and restore stability there.
During the meeting, they also discussed how to shore up national dialogue among all Libyan rivals, leading up to a rebuilding of Libyan State institutions, Egypt's state-run news agency MENA reported.
The Libyan prime minister then held talks with his Egyptian counterpart Ibrahim Mahlab on bilateral cooperation in various fields, it added.
Al-Thinni briefed Mahlab on the current situation in this North African country and ongoing efforts to create national concord among Libyan factions.
The Libyan premier arrived here earlier on Tuesday on a several-day visit to Egypt.
