Qaliobiya Security Chief Mahmoud Yousry
Cairo - MENA

A state of high alert was announced Thursday across Egypt to face calls by the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood (MB) group to stage rallies on Friday.
Qaliobiya Security Chief Mahmoud Yousry said a plan was set to secure the vital facilities and police stations in the province during tomorrow's protests.
He added that surveillance cameras were installed to monitor any riot acts by the outlaws and the terrorist group's members.
Checkpoints were also set up at the entrances and exits of the province to face the MB's attempts to block roads and terrorize citizens, Yousry said.
In Sharqiya, an operation room was formed to face any urgent events during Friday's protests.
Sharqiya Governor Saeed Abdelaziz said security measures have been beefed up around vital facilities, especially the power plants, to confront the MB's riot acts.
He stressed that the army and police personnel are capable of protecting Egypt and facing violent acts.
Meanwhile, Ismailia security directorate drew up a plan to face any riot acts by the MB terrorist group tomorrow.
This came after two sound bombs were defused in the province early in the day.
