Egypt mufti: army not to be affected by lies

Egypt's Mufti has spoken against what he called "foolishness" of a number of media channels that tend to falsify facts and promote lies.
Dr Shawqi Allam was speaking after a number of channels defamed the Egyptian army.
The proud Egyptian army won't be undermined by such insults and lies, Allam said in press statements on the sidelines of his visit to Menufiya University.
The Armed Forces will continue to fight black terrorism, the mufti said.
He called on businessmen and traders not to monopolize basic commodities, stressing this will have a negative impact on the nation.
Allam also spoke against tax evasion and bribery.
