Egypt military attaché in China: October war victory landmark in Egypt's history

Egyptian Military Attaché to China Colonel Bahaa Salem Omara hailed the Egyptian-Chinese relations, affirming that China comes at the top of Egypt’s allies that has been supporting it for years as well as supporting choices of its people especially during the past few years. 

The remarks were made during a celebration that was held by Omara in China on Monday night to mark the 44th anniversary of the October War Victory. The ceremony was attended by Egypt's Ambassador to China Osama El Magdoub and a number of the embassy personnel. 

A number of Chinese military, political and diplomatic officials attended the celebration along with some Arab and foreign diplomats and attachés accredited to China.

During the ceremony, Omara said that Egypt and the all Arab countries celebrate October War victory that had been achieved by the sacrifices of the Egyptian people and military. 

Omara noted that Egypt is still strong during its fight against terrorism, achieving progress to get the regional and international stand it deserves.

He pointed out that Egypt’s participation in BRICS summit that was held in September reflected the growing economic progress it has achieved over the past few years.

He invited Chinese people to visit Egypt to witness development and mega projects being implemented in record time.
