Egypt, IFC discuss cooperation

Egyptian Prime Minister Hisham Qandil discussed with Vice President of the International Finance Corporation (IFC) for Europe, Central Asia, Middle East and North Africa, Dimitris Tsitsiragos, how the international institution participates with private and public sectors in the implementation of large scale national projects, especially infrastructure and labor-intensive projects that achieve sustainable development and create new job opportunities for young people. The meeting also addressed the obstacles facing investment and investors in Egypt as well as Egypt’s ongoing negotiations with the International Monetary Fund for a loan.
