
Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shukry will visit both Kuwait and Jordan between July 8 and 11 to discuss several regional matters, particularly Iraq, it was announced on Monday.
The minister is scheduled to meet his counterparts from Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Sabah, and Jordan, Naser Judeh, both neighbouring countries of Iraq, in addition to several senior officials in both countries.
Their discussions will focus on regional affairs, particularly the situation in Iraq and the eastern part of the Arab World, in addition to means to develop bilateral relations on the economic and political spectrums, read a Foreign Ministry statement.
Afterwards, Shukry will head to the Saudi city of Jeddah where he is due to attend an Organisation of Islamic Cooperation meeting on the heightened Israeli-Palestinian tension, the statement added.
