Egypt ambassador to Qatar now on vacation

Spokesman at the Foreign Ministry Bader Abdel-Atti has said the Egyptian ambassador to Qatar is now in Cairo on vacation. Speaking to a private television channel on Sunday, the spokesman said Egypt had summoned the Qatari ambassador to Egypt over the Gulf nation's meddling into Egypt's affairs. He was responding to a question on reports of the United Arab Emirates (UAE)'s summoning Qatar's ambassador to formally protest the comments of an outspoken pro-Muslim Brotherhood cleric.
