Egyptian Ambassador to Palestine Wael Nasr el-Din Attiya has attended the funeral of Mohamed Abu-Khudair, a Palestinian youth who was killed by Israeli settlers in Shofat town in East Jerusalem Wednesday.
The ambassador condoled with the family of Abu-Khudair and the Palestinian people.
Nasr el-Din condemned the heinous crime against Abu-Khudair, warning of terrorism and radicalism that threaten democracy in the region and the world.
He expressed Egypt's full support for the Palestinian people and leadership, stressing the importance of quickly bringing the killers to justice.
Egypt will continue to side with the Palestinian people until they attain their legitimate right in establishing their independent state on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
