Dubai Customs has recently won the Business Award from Business Intelligence Group for its distinctive performance and innovative products and services.

Dubai Customs says that it is the first government department in the world to win this award from Business Intelligence Group.

Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, Group Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of DP World, said, "Dubai Customs has noticeably developed and enriched smart and innovative service field. This is the fruits of the efforts of its teams and their dedication following the wise directives of Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who always confirmed that success is not a wish, it’s hard work and sweat. The world will remember only the hard workers, so always keep it up."

He added that the quality of work adopted in Dubai Customs competes that of the private sector and beat it in some areas based on the wise vision of the country’s leadership which aims at promoting the UAE and enhancing its economy.

Ross Fordiss, CEO, Business Intelligence Group, commended Dubai Customs’ achievement being the first government department in the world to win such an award.
