
Dozens of displaced Iraqi families from the city of Ramadi and nearby areas began to return to their homes, Head of the Anbar Provincial Council Sabah Karhot announced. Karhot said in a press statement that the situation in Ramadi is witnessing a security stability, a matter that encouraged dozens of families to return to their homes. Karhot outlined that the armed and ISIS elements escaped from the most areas in the north, east and the center of the city of Ramadi. He asserted that Anbar provincial council has formed a committee to assess the losses in the homes and shops in order to compensate their owners as recommended by Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki.
