Diplomat: Fighting terror in Sinai does not hamper its development

Security and military confrontation against terrorism in Sinai goes side by side with the development plan, said a senior diplomat on Tuesday.
Former assistant foreign minister ambassador Mokhles Qotb added, in press statements, that development efforts in Sinai are aimed at meeting the needs of Sinai residents and making up for the damage they had sustained due to fighting terrorism.
He underlined the necessity of maintaining efforts by the government to link Sinai with Nile valley through setting up development projects.
