The Ministerial Committee on Legal Affairs has convened its meeting chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Jawad bin Salem Al Arrayed.
The Deputy Premier and Head of the Ministerial Committee said "The committee continues its work at the directives of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa in harmony with His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s wise reform policy on the basis of the Kingdom’s Constitution and National Action Charter."

The committee reviewed the topics and memoranda listed in the agenda of the meeting, including bills of law prepared in the light of proposals submitted by the Shura Council and the Council of Representatives to the government, in response to which the government prepared its memoranda of opinion, he said.

The committee also reviewed several proposals submitted to the government from the Council of Representative. The committee prepared its draft response to the government and decided to submit it to the Cabinet to take the necessary decisions in this regard.

The committee expressed its opinion on some of the topics referred to it from the Cabinet and the ministries.
