Defence, interior ministers check on law enforcement forces in North Sinai

Defense Minister Sedki Sobhi, accompanied by Interior Minister Magdi Abdel Ghaffar, inspected law enforcement forces comprising members from police and army in North Sinai.

Sobhi expressed President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's appreciation for the great efforts exerted by law enforcement forces in striking terrorist hotbeds and killing a number of takfiris and terrorists.

He paid tribute to police and army men who sacrifice their lives for the sake of the country's security and stability.

Sobhi checked on many security checkpoints stationed on main roads in Sinai, urging forces to be vigilant and on maximum alert.

He lauded the high morale and combat capabilities of security forces in North Sinai, saying they are determined to uproot terrorism while attaching great importance of preserving innocent souls during military operations.

Sobhi also saluted the role played by Sinai residents in standing by army and police men while confronting terrorist groups.
