Custodian of the 2 Holy Mosques calls For Rain-seeking Prayer on Monday

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has called for the performance of Istisqa (rain-seeking) prayer all over the Kingdom on Monday, Muharram 24, 1436 AH according to Umm Al-Qura calendar, in pursuant of the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
The statement urged Muslims in the Kingdom to take part in the prayer, repent, perform worships, do good deeds and charities, and pray for rainfall.
