Armed clashes broke out after midnight between a Palestinian faction and gunmen in the Bekaa Valley, the state-owned National News Agency said Wednesday.
NNA said the fighting with machine gun fire and rocket-propelled grenades pitted members of Ahmad Jibrilآ’s Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine-General Command against an armed group.
The clashes, which took place between the PFLP-GC base at Al-Baida hill and the nearby plains of Kfar Zabad, dwindled around 04:30 a.m., the NNA said.
It said Lebanese Army vehicles were seen patrolling the main Kfar Zabad road and sub-roads in Sehaileh.
