Cairo - Arab Today

Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Lt. General Mahmoud Hegazi on Friday asserted the importance of developing education at the military facilities as a cornerstone for preparing generations of experienced fighters.

"Education and training are main sources of power and foundations for updating the Armed Forces," he said during a meeting with faculty members of the Armed Forces’ technical institute.

The Armed Forces have abundant scientific and training experiences in various fields, he said.

The General Command is interested in developing the educational and technological potentials in the army’s educational facilities, he added.
