
The Capital Governor Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa emphasized that citizens' huge turnout at the polling stations in Bahrain's successful parliamentary and municipal elections on Saturday (November 22) affirms their absolute support to the democratic and reform process.
Moreover, the success of the fourth legislative term consolidates Bahrain's international place, as evidenced by European ambassadors commending voters participation.
He added that loyal Bahrainis have proven to the world that Bahraini citizens possessed the will to progress and faith in the revival of the Homeland, asserting that the massive voters turnout displayed the best image of national unity and a landmark in the country's ongoing democratic and reform process led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
The Governor said that the successful elections for the upcoming fourth legislative term reflect the firm vision of His Majesty the King, pointing out that the path of reform, development and progress in all fields reflects positively on the enhancement of the livelihood of citizens.
