Cairo court upholds ruling to release Zawahri pending investigations

Cairo Criminal Court on Saturday said upheld its previous ruling to release Mohamed el Zawahri - the brother of Al Qaeda's number one leader Ayman el Zawahri - for 45 days pending investigations.
Under the court's decision, precautionary measures would continue and the defendant would not be allowed to leave home without a permit from the police.
Mohamed el Zawahri faces charges of forming and leading a terrorist group named "al Ta'efa al Mansura".
