The CEO of the national airline company Air Algerie, Mohamed Salah Boultif has denounced Wednesday in Algiers the media campaign waged against his company, whose dynamism and competitiveness have become cause for worry, he said.
In an interview with APS, Boultif expressed concerns over the media campaign against the national company since the crash of the flight AH 5017 in Mali on 24 July.
According to Boultif, Air Algerie has managed to draw 1.4 million new passengers for international flights within three years in a highly competitive environment. It also seeks to build a hub airport in Algiers after purchasing 16 new aircrafts by 2016, he added.
