Speaker of the House, Nabih Berri, on Wednesday hailed Lebanon's position towards the Jerusalem issue, during his weekly meeting with the lawmakers at his Ain-el-Tineh residence.
"Lebanon, with all its institutions and sects, became one closed rank in a position that must be preserved and built upon to face all due dates," he said.
Touching on the recent Parliament session, Berri said: "During the session, Lebanon was the voice of the Arabs in the face of the US decision."
"Targeting Jerusalem is targeting Lebanon and the Palestinian Cause," he reiterated.
On a different note, Berri maintained that the Parliament was adamant about assuming its role regarding the oil resources' dossier
