Speaker of the House, Nabih Berri, on Friday afternoon met at his Ain Tineh residence with the US Ambassador to Lebanon, Elizabeth Richard, with talks reportedly touching on the current situation in Lebanon and the broad region.
Speaker Berri also met with Egyptian Ambassador to Lebanon, Nazih al-Najjari.
Berri also received a delegation from the command of the "Jamaa Islamiyya" led by its Secretary General Azzam Al-Ayoubi.
On the other hand, Berri received a phone call from the Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Antioch and all the East Yohanna X.
