Commander-in-Chief of Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Khalifa patronised this evening the 3rd military mass wedding at the BDF Officers Club.
Defence Minister Lieutenant General Yusef bin Ahmed Al Jalahma, Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Dhiab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, Defence Ministry Undersecretary Major General Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa and senior officers attended the celebration.
The BDF Chief Commander congratulated newly-weds and presented them with commemorative gifts, wishing them success in their new life. He hailed the 3rd mass wedding as reflecting the keenness of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa on promoting social stability and sharing citizens their joys and happy events. He highlighted the role of the BDF in fostering community partnership and enabling its military affiliates to found happy and stable families. He also stressed the BDF drive to develop human resources on all levels, pledging social care for military personnel in recognition of their sacrifices for the sake of the nation.
The BDF Commander-in-Chief was presented with a commemorative gift on the occasion.
