
Sudan’s Ambassador to Egypt Abdel Mahmoud Abdel Haleem has said that a visit by President Omar al-Bashir to Egypt on Saturday will help promote cooperation between the two countries.
The planned visit will promote cooperation between both countries in all fields, the ambassador told SUNA news agency.
Bashir's meetings in Cairo will tackle a number of political, economic and social files of mutual concern, Abdel Haleem said.
During the visit, Bashir will hold talks with President Sisi and a number of political figures and Egyptian businessmen, he added.
Bashir and a high-profile delegation are set to arrive in Cairo on Saturday on a two-day visit to Egypt for bilateral talks.
